I signed on for a three month membership in April 2014. I cancelled the membership (as required in order not to be auto renewed) on the site in my account in early June. I hid my profile at the same time since it would otherwise be active until the 3 mo. term was up. I never signed back on but my card was charged July 11 effectively renewing my account. I called the company and was given an automated refund process. My son went into the hospital about that time and I failed to confirm the refund until I was charged yet again Oct. 11. I immediately phoned and bypassed the automated refund system. They refunded the Oct. 11 charge but in spite of admitting they could see I was both hidden and never used the site after I claim to have cancelled, they would not refund the July charge.

Be mindful that all your effort on match. com can be a complete waste of time. Match. com monitors our activities. If they feel our activities are bad for business, they "terminate" the account without warning, without providing a reason, and without refunding any payment balance. That's what happened when I started to have a lot of correspondence. I had made lots of friends, trying to sort out who is best for me to date, when Match terminated my account, after investing all that time, just as I was getting close to finding the right person.
On top of having wasted a considerable amount of my time, having separated me from people, especially one person that I was developing attachment to, and embarrassing me, they did not refund the remainder of my funds, which is over $50 without any explanation. If you're the type of person who is planning to use the service frequently, Be Careful, Your entire experience and bridges you build on match can all be wasted time, if someone there decided to terminate your account, especially if you have excessive activity.
DATING YOUR GUILD GUITAR
The following series of charts contain the most accurate information Guild has available for discerning the date of manufacture of Guild guitars by serial number. Through the years, (as well as through several different owners of the Guild Guitar company), some historical documentation has unfortunately been lost or destroyed. While there are some holes in the historical record, as well as a few anomalies, inconsistencies, and obvious errors in the dating charts, the information complied and presented here is the most comprehensive data we have available for dating Guild guitars. Please refer to the guides before each chart for information on how to interpret the data.
There are other resources for dating Guild guitars which you may also want to consult, such as: "The Guild Guitar Book" by Hans Moust, and "Gruhn's Guide To Vintage Guitars" by George Gruhn. Both are excellent references and may be quite helpful to you in both determining the year of production of your instrument as well as identifying specifications and a historical context for the instrument.
Unfortunately, the records of Guild serial numbers prior to 1960 are somewhat sketchy, and so we are unable to assure the accuracy of dating before that time. The following chart, however, details the best information we have for the approximate last serial numbers produced in each given year before 1960. There are no corresponding model names or numbers available.
Since the Closing of the Guild Rhode Island Plant I have chosen not to continue to sell Guild Guitars.
I do get dozens of Emails a week thanking me for keeping this information on the web (and you are welcome) and asking questions about older Guild Guitars. Unfortunately I am too busy trying to earn a living, doing what I love to do (selling and occasionally playing the guitar) to answer these emails.
Frequently asked questions -
Q. I can't find my guitars serial number? A. Sorry, I know this list is not complete. Listed below is all the info I could collect before Westerly RI was closed by Fender.
Q. My Guild has different specifications than the model listed on xxxxx Website? A. This is not unusual. Guild made many unrecorded variations of their Guitars.
Q. How much is my Guitar worth? A. It is probably worth more than the dollars you will sell it for. If you are thinking of selling, check adds in Vintage Guitar Magazine, or on Guitar classified web pages and see what similar Guitars are selling for.
If it was your first guitar - Don't sell it! If it was you Mom or Dads - Don't sell it!

GENERAL INFORMATION
Vacant Lot Clean-up Work Orders are issued on a per Lot basis. The Work Order amount is determined by the Department (see Vacant Lot Rate Table attached) and approved by the Code Supervisor. Work Order amounts exceeding $500.00 must be pre-approved by the Assistant Director. In the event the Vacant Lot Rate Table is not applicable for the vacant lot clean-up due to the size of the lot, special bids are to be solicited from eligible contractors. These special bids are to be submitted on a per Lot or per item basis. It is possible that the owner may clear Lot(s) after the time of advertisement. The City may withdraw any Lot(s) from a Work Order or bid, at any time, prior to start of cleaning without liability to the City.
The Contractor shall obtain and pay for any permits, licenses, etc. required in the clean up of Lot(s) and shall produce receipts as required by the City. For instance, payment of landfill fees may be required for disposal of rubbish, etc. The Contractor will be required to accomplish clean up of Lot(s) within the allotted time, as per the contract after receiving authorization from the City; however, if the Contractor is awarded a large number of Lots, clean up time may be extended at the option of the City. If bad weather prevents clean up, the Contractor shall request approval from the City for an extension to the contracted cleaning days and will be granted an extension only upon written approval.
The Contractor will provide a telephone number to be contacted during normal working hours. An invoice, in duplicate and with a copy of the completed work order . itemizing each Lot cleaned shall be submitted to the City within two (2) days after the work is completed. Only after inspection by the City and acceptance of the work performed, will payment be made. Unsatisfactory work shall be redone at the Contractor's expense. Continued unacceptable work is cause for the Code Enforcement Services Department to suspend the Contractor or permanently remove the Contractor from the eligibility list.
Failure of a Contractor to complete a work order within the allotted time or failure to perform satisfactory work shall be sufficient cause to suspend the Contractor from the eligibility list.
If a Contractor deletes a work order (or work order item) or unsatisfactorily completes a work order (or work order item) three (3) times within a three (3) month period, the Contractor shall be permanently removed from the eligibility list.
The Contractor shall complete outstanding work orders before being issued another bid list.
The City shall be the sole judge of contractor performance and its decision shall be final.

PROCEDURE FOR SPECIAL BIDS ON VACANT LOT (S) (when applicable)

The Contractor shall review the bid specification sheet and will be responsible to survey the Lot(s) prior to placing a bid(s). The Contractor shall clearly itemize as indicated the bid sheet (e. g. dollar and cents) and return the bid by the scheduled date and time.
